When it's finally time to sleep after a long day, there's almost nothing worse than laying awake to the sound of snoring. Snoring is a common nuisance, but it could carry a more serious problem for some people. Snoring can sometimes be a sign of a sleep disorder. It can be the sign of a very common sleep disorder, called sleep apnea. "What I really noticed was my wife kicking me out of bed, or herself, going and sleeping somewhere else." Mike McFall knew he might have a sleeping problem when he started snoring. "It was a progressive thing. It wasn't automatically i was snoring bad all the time. It got worse and worse and worse." So McFall finally made a trip to the doctor, he's a Respiratory Therapist himself, so he already knew the diagnosis would be sleep apnea.
